How to play Triple Daily

Find one word that satisfies three distinct definitions. You get one guess for each clue, for a maximum of three guesses.

The rules

  1. Clue 1 is visible when the puzzle begins.
  2. Submit one single-word guess. Letter case does not matter.
  3. A correct guess solves the case immediately.
  4. A wrong guess is consumed and unlocks the next clue.
  5. After a third miss, the answer and all three explanations are revealed.

A worked example

Clue 1: A place money is stored.

Clue 2: The side of a river.

Clue 3: To tilt an aircraft while turning.

Answer: BANK

Each definition points to the exact same spelling, but the meanings belong to finance, geography, and aviation.
